My name is F.D.Nick Braaksma and I've been teaching Body-Mind-Spirit systems and programs since 1984. Exercise for Weightloss and Stress release are the #1 tools we seem to readily have available.....however, do we know how to use them or even have the knowhow to manage our time to save ourselves from hectic schedules and busy lifestyles?
This is where we step in and sit down with you 1 on 1 to take your personal inventory of your life!
We assess your fitness and stress levels; we measure, weigh and calculate your bodyfat%; and last but most importantly, we figure out how you and our team can commit to you to begin your new lifestyle.
Once we determine that you are ready, we will then set realistic but small goals so you will achieve the desired results.
I still remember the day my father put me in a Judo & Jiu Jitsu class at age 5.....it was Teatime and as he sipped his Tea he showed me my Judo Uniform. Little did I know that he had put me on the path of "Do" or "The Way" and that this path would eventually lead me through hard times with perseverance, determination, resilliance, tenacity and an unequivical positive attitude towards life!
Since then, I have made Staying Fit, Martial Arts, Meditation and my Higher Belief "My Way" of Life. After many years of serious training with Grand Masters and Sat Gurus in my field I finally "got it"; I formulated and documented my "Do" or Way/System of teaching in Body-Mind-Spirit and called it "Kime Ryu" or "The way of proper use of Body, Mind and Spirit". Kime is the essence of all fighting arts and life application.

Shihan Derick Payne and Sensei David Hernandez, our Mobile based Instructors, are offering our tough fun and educational MMA classes at our "Dojo" or Martial Arts Way School at SPORTPLEX in Mobile, AL 1-251-727-2672 or 251-342-1777. The Fighting Spirit and Leadership at Shogun MMA will surely guide you to be an excellent Grappler, Striker and conditioned athlete.
Sensei Algelo Koolman our Arubian based instructor teaches MMA (Info: 297-733-6950), and will give you the right tools to become a formidable Standup fighter and Submission artist!
Shihan Wouter Gesterkamp, Senseis Carol Alders, Jason and Melissa Yarzagarai are teaching the Aruba Kids classes (Info: 297-593-3637); all 4 have a great way with kids.
Kime Ryu Dojo has recently promoted Alvaro Martijn to Sempai in Amsterdam in The Netherlands; we are proud to introduce our 3rd affiliate dojo (Info: 06-449-02157).
In 2009 we selected 2 Kime Ryu Black Belts by the name of Shihan Henry Rianberg and Sensei Suzanna Rianberg in Sweden for our 4th affiliate dojo.
Our 5th dojo by affiliation is under the guidance of Shihan Vincent Moore at Tiffin University, Ohio.
All Kime Ryu's affiliate instructors have personally been trained by Hanshi F.D.Nick Braaksma.
At Honbu or Kime Ryu's Head Quarters at SPORTPLEX in Mobile, AL. our students have membership options to use SPORTPLEX's Weight training Machines, an Exellent selection of Cardio equipment, a Spinning room, Racquet Ball, Basket Ball, Swimming, Steamrooms, Babysitting service and the bestcardio class called Karobics.
